Brass Hook Plugs

Helpful Hint:  

Brass Hook Plugs can be used to test the glue joint of return fittings by first testing the plumbing system with the seal made on the threads of the fittings, and next with a seal inside the pipe. If there is a pressure drop with the seal in the fitting but not when the seal is in the pipe there is a leak at the glue joint.

A 1-1/2" extension between wingnut and rubber allows a seal to be made past threads in the smooth part of pipe.
